Imphal, January 04 2026: RB Academy has opened a new branch (pre-primary section) at Takyel Industry Road, opposite KYSPA ground.

The grand opening ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Jitelal Sharma, Secretary, Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM); Thokchom Krishnatombi, Superintendent of Police, Railways Manpur; Chourajit Thongam, Branch Manager, NEDFI Imphal Branch; and Khumanthem Ratankumar Singh, chairman, RB Academy.

At the event, the dignitaries highlighted pre-primary education's crucial role in building a strong foundation, influencing a child's entire educational journey and overall development.

They also called on the teachers and staff of RB Academy's new branch to be facilitators of holistic development, guiding children through play and interaction to build essential physical, mental, emotional, and social foundations.

Moreover, Laipham Siphai Khunou Unity & Development Organisation organised an inaugural function of a Book Bank at Mitong Lampak Multipurpose Hall in Laipham Khunou Mayai Leikai.

The function was graced by dignitaries, including Leimapokpam Sunil, president, Laipham Siphai Khunou Unity & Development Organisation; Arambam Anilkumar Singh, Zonal Education Officer, Wangoi, Imphal West; Lairenjam Ibemhal, former Pradhan, Laipham Khunou Gram Panchayat; senior citizens Abujam Brajamani, Taorem Mangi, Paonam Shyamkeshor and Maibam Ibobi.

As part of the event, books were distributed to students of the area.
