Vigilance Awareness Week observed

The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Imphal observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2, 2025, in alignment with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Government of India.
The theme for this year's observance was "Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility".
The week-long observance w,as organised under the initiative of Dr N Anando Singh, Officer In-Charge, Vigilance Cell, to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in public administration while fostering awareness among employees, students, and stakeholders about ethical conduct and the importance of collective efforts to combat corruption.
As per a release issued by ICAR RC for NEH Region, the observance commenced with the Integrity Pledge administered by Dr Ch Basudha, Head of Regional Research Centre, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Imphal followed by a series of awareness activities and competitions such as Spot Slogan Writing, Essay Writing, Extempore Speech, Poster Making, and Quiz Competitions.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from both staff and students.
The valedictory function, held on November 3 at the Loktak Farmers' Hostel, marked the successful conclusion of the week-long observance.
Certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners of the various competitions.
The programme reinforced the message that vigilance is a continuous and collective responsibility essential for building a transparent, accountable, and corruption-free work environment.
