Health camp conducted

As part of the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA) - Awareness and Saturation Campaign, a free health camp was conducted today at the community hall of Keikhu Kabui village, Kshetrigao CD Block, Imphal East district.
During the camp, a medical team consisting of doctors, nurses and technicians under the Chief Medical Officer, Imphal East provided free health examinations and consultations to about 120 villagers.
Those in need were also provided with free medications, ensuring access to essential treatments.
Later, the participants led by Patrik Golmei, former Pradhan of Naharup Gram Panchayat; Engenjao Panmei, khunbu, Keikhu Kabui village; RK Dayananda, Additional Deputy Commissioner amd Karam Uma Devi, BDO, Kshetrigao CD Block planted tree saplings in the surrounding area of the community hall.
It may be mentioned that the DAJA is a nationwide initiative focused on ensuring tribal communities receive the benefits of government welfare schemes.
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is the nodal agency, coordinating with other ministries to implement the campaign and ensure maximum benefit saturation.
