4th UNC Assembly held

Senapati, May 30 2025:
The 4th United Naga Council Assembly was held at Tumuyon Khullen Village, Senapati District, Manipur on Friday.
The august house discussed mainly on the issue(s) confronting the Naga people.
Speaking to the media persons after the meeting, UNC President, Ng Lorho said that the meeting discussed various issues including social boycott imposed upon Kho John and Allyson Abonmai who were both contestants in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, 2024.After fulfilment of certain procedures and formalities of the two gentlemen, the social boycott was stated to have been lifted by the Assembly.
The meeting also discussed the prevailing situation and political development confronting the Nagas.
Many more agenda were also stated to have tabled during the assembly which he had not disclosed.
Around 60 delegates representing the 21 Naga Tribe leaders, Districts Apex organizations including tire Naga People's Organization (NPO) Senapati, Chandel Naga People's Organization (CNPO), Chandel, Joint Tribe Council (JTC), Tamenglong and Senior UNC Leaders attended the meeting.
