Tripura Government honours Shija Hospitals for healthcare & economic impact

Imphal, January 30 2026: The Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Tripura, felicitated Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd on Thursday during the inaugural programme of the 36th Tripura Industries and Commerce Fair 2026, held at the Hapania International Fair Ground in Agartala.

The prestigious award was presented by Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha.

Santosh Shekhar, general manager of Shija Hospitals, accepted the recognition on behalf of the organisation.

As per a release issued by Shija Hospitals, the recognition was conferred in appreciation of Shija Hospitals' valuable contribution to the economic development of Tripura.

The Government specifically noted the hospital's role in strengthening industrial growth, generating employment, and enhancing investor confidence in Tripura.

Shija's sustained engagement has played a meaningful role in reinforcing the State's investment ecosystem and advancing the vision of inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development.

Shija Hospitals expressed sincere gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery, academic excellence, and sustainable development in the region.
