CADA opens new unit at Wabagai Mairenbam Chingya

Imphal, August 26 2025: The Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA), in its efforts to strengthen the fight against drug abuse in Manipur, has inaugurated a new unit at Wabagai Mairenbam Chingya, Kakching district.

According to a release issued by the CADA, the event was attended by CADA Head Office, vice-president Ningthoujam Doren; secretary organisation Mayengbam Budhi; CADA Kakching District Committee president Sorokhaibam Nena; and vice-president of Kakching District Committee, Elangbam Thambalngoubi.

During the event, altogether 15 new executive committee members were unanimously elected for the 2025-28 term.

The newly elected executive body includes Thounaojam Binasakhi Devi as president, Laishram Ayingbi Devi and Laishram Pumima Devi as vice-presidents, and Naorem Renibala Devi as secretary general, among others.
