Imphal, July 25 2025: A 2-day international hybird conference on "Critical Humanities: Language, Culture and Indigeinit" began today at the auditorium of DM College of Arts, Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal.

The conference was organised by the Department of English, DM College of Arts in collaboration with the IQAC, DM College of Arts and supported by English Alumni Association, Manipur University.

The inaugural function was graced by dignitaries, including Prof W Chandbabu, Vice Chancellor, DM University; Prof S Lanchenba, Principal, DM College of Arts and Dean, School of Humanities, DM University; Prof Nandini Shahu, Vice Chancellor, Hindi University, West Bengal; Prof Tapu Biswas, Bhasa Bhavana, Institute of Language, Literature and Culture Visva-Bharati Santiniketan, West Bengal; Prof Somdev Banik, Department of English, Tripura University; and Dr Rohit Kumar Chandrakant Kalaskar, Head, School of Artificial Intelligence, North ChiangMai University, Thailand.
