Bright Foundation School marks grand conclusion of 17th Annual Day

Thoubal, December 24 2025: The two-day 17th Annual Day celebration of Bright Foundation School, Thoubal Kshetri Leikai Tomjing Makhong, concluded today at the school campus with a prize distribution ceremony and vibrant cultural programmes presented by the students.

The closing ceremony was graced by JN Manipur Dance Academy Imphal, Director Pukhrambam Bilash Singh as chief guest; Bright Foundation School chairman cum principal Dr Joy Singh Oinam as functional president and The Assam Valley School, Head of Pastoral, Amirzit Singh Huidrom as guest of honour.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Joy Singh Oinam said that the annual day celebration was organised to honour and showcase the academic excellence and talents of the students.

He emphasised that the school, besides academics focuses on nurturing students' skills and talents to help them succeed and pursue their dream careers.

He further highlighted that the school regularly organises sports meets, debates, painting competitions, and science and arts competitions, and that students have participated in various district, state, and national-level events, winning several awards.

Referring to the implementation of NEP 2020, he said that education sector is undergoing significant changes and urged parents and guardians to closely guide their children and collectively move forward in adapting to the new system.

During the event, winners of various district, state and national competitions, along with achievers in school competitions, were felicitated.

Best Teacher awards were also presented.

The awards comprised cash prizes, mementos, and citations.

The programme concluded with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the students, which captivated and enthralled the audience.
