Imphal, February 24 2026: A new chapter of connection linking North East India and South East Asia unfolded through the North East India x South East Asia Confluence event organised by Emerging North East Eco Forum (ENEEF) in collaboration with Thai Bharat Cultural Lodge (TBCL) on February 14 in Bangkok.

The confluence featured a mesmerizing performance from cultural ambassador Mangka Mayanglambam.

As per a statement, her evocative folk melodies captivated the gathering, transcending language barriers and drew the audience into a shared cultural experience.

In his inaugural speech, Satyajit Aribam, chairman, ENEEF, highlighted cultural diplomacy as a strategic pillar for fostering mutual trust and strengthening sustained economic and institutional partnerships across regions.

The sessions were moderated by Jyoti Rekha Bora.

It featured active participation from TBCL supporters namely, Rajendra Pandey, Sushil Pandey, Rakesh Nettakhun, Sushil Kumar Dhanuka, Khun Sutham Sajjatep, Somsong Sachaphimukh, and Sunil Kothari- who significantly advanced community-driven cultural exchange and institutional partnership.

Participants from India, Thailand, Malaysia, China, New Zealand, Italy, Israel and the United States highlighted the Confluence's expanding footprint as an international cooperation forum bridging regional and global knowledge and industry networks.

The North East Indian community in Thailand has extended full support to ENEEF's vision and future initiatives.
