DC Bishnupur inspects CHC Ningthoukhong, reviews functioning

Bishnupur, August 19 2025: Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Dr L Raichandra, visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) Ningthoukhong today to review the newly constructed building and assess the overall functioning of the centre.

During the visit, the DC was briefed by the Medical Officer in-charge on the status of the new construction, as well as the maintenance of the existing Health Centre, its manpower position, infrastructure facilities, and related aspects.

Taking stock of the situation, Pooja Elangbam encouraged the doctors and nurses to continue providing their best services, stressing that their efforts are vital in saving lives.

She urged them to perform their duties with dedication and assured full support from the District Administration.

The DC also inspected the progress of the construction work and appealed for expediting the finishing touches wherever necessary.

Expressing gratitude, the Medical Officers and staff of the CHC thanked the Deputy Commissioner and the Chief Medical Officer for their visit and encouragement.
