She added that young people have been dragged into the crisis and are gradually losing interest in their education.

She urged the people to unite in demanding the ILP gate to be erected at least 2 kms away from Jiribam Bazar.
Citing the presence of "CID and toll tax booths" driving away customers, she highlighted the need to bring about some changes in these regard.
She urged people to come together to uplift the dying economy of Jiribam.
Meanwhile, Senjam Sainik Kumar said the main contributions of HERICOUN has been in the areas of strengthening the bonds between communities in the hills and the valley and promoting natural and organic products of Manipur.
However, owing to the ongoing crisis, many activities of HERICOUN planned in consultation with the hill and valley communities have been derailed, he said.
After the conflict is resolved, these efforts will resume without fail, he assured.
