COHSEM first in India with PARAKH

Imphal, January 16 2026:
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has become the first State Board in India to establish a dedicated PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development) Cell to implement the reforms of NEP 2020, as initiated by PARAKH NCERT, New Delhi.
The PARAKH Cell will serve as a platform for organising workshops and facilitating discussions among resource persons, subject experts, educationists and teachers in alignment with PARAKH initiatives for the effective implementation of NEP 2020, as per a press note.
The newly established PARAKH Cell was inaugurated today at COHSEM Office by Professor Indrani Bhaduri, CEO & Head of PARAKH NCERT, New Delhi along with Takhellambam Ojit Singh, Chairman, COHSEM.
The inauguration ceremony was also graced by COHSEM members Dr E Iboyaima, Dr Y Kunjabihari Singh and N Opendro Singh and COHSEM resource person Professor Kh Dineshkumar.
