Social service programme conducted

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, organised a social service programme under the Swachhta ActionPlanfortheyear2024-25 today in the surrounding areas of A-Block, Pathology Department, Anatomy Department, Jubilee Hall, and Ladies Hostel No 3, RIMS, Imphal.
According to a release issued by RIMS, the event aimed at enhancing the cleanliness of the campus and fostering a sense of responsibility among participants towards environmental conservation & public health.
The programme conducted under the leadership of Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal, was focused on making RIMS a plastic-free zone and one of the cleanest institutions in the State.
The event underscored RIMS's commitment towards a cleaner and greener environment while instilling a strong sense of civic duty among the community members.
The programme witnessed active participation from staff and members of CRED (Campus Research and Environmental Department) of the institution.
Activities included cleaning drives, waste collection, and awareness campaigns, all focused on the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment on campus.
