Youth appealed to join civil defence

Imphal, May 13 2025: Informing that MY Bharat is mobilising youth across the country to enrol as MY Bharat Civil Defence Volunteers under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, MY Bharat, Chandel & Moreh said both existing volunteers and new individuals who wish to serve the nation as a civil defence volunteer may access the official MY Bharat portal: https://mybharat.gov.in for the registration process.

According to a MY Bharat Chandel & Moreh release, the nationwide call is part of the concerted efforts to empower young citizens take up vital roles in national cause, particularly during emergencies and crisis, by building a well-trained, responsive, and resilient volunteer force that can complement civil administration in times of natural disasters, accidents, public emergencies, and other unforeseen situations.
