Kakching, October 11 2025: In view of the upcoming Ningol Chakkouba and Diwali festivals, Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association (KBBWA) will organise the 2nd Kakching Night Plaza on October 19 in coordination with District Administration, Kakching and Kakching Municipal Council (KMC).

Speaking to media persons during a press conference held at KMC conference hall today, Yengkhom Rajendra, president, KBBWA, said that the night plaza is being hosted with the goal of making necessary items for the festivals available at lower costs, provide a platform for the sale of local products of Kakching and also to give an opportunity to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to sell any items they may have produced.

The night plaza will be held from 5 pm to 11 pm along the road from Kakching Keithel Budhiraj Road to Kakching Khongnang Mari Phangba area.

Anyone interested in opening a stall during the 2nd night plaza can obtain a form from KBBWA Kakching Keithel and register themselves.

Without registration, no stalls or vendors will be permitted to sell their products, warned Rajendra.

He also made an appeal to the public to come to the 2nd Kakching Night Plaza and buy essential items at cheap prices.

The press briefing was attended by KMC Caretaker Chairperson Naorem Shanjitkumar, Executive Engineer N Ramchandra, Assistant Executive Engineer Salam Jugeshwor, KBBWA secretary Arunkumar and other officials.
