Imphal, March 11 2025: A one-day orientation cum awareness programme on "Harnessing Renewable Energy Sources" and discussion on "MNRE Schemes" for farmers was held today at Kakching Mayai Leikai Multipurpose Community Hall.

The event was organised by Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (MANIREDA) under the supervision of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy."It was attended by MANIREDA joint director, W Suraj, Retd Asst Professor, Ksh Nilachandra, MSPDCL Retd SO, Ksh Gourantai along with officials and staff of MANIREDA.

At the event, many experts highlighted the State's project of making Solar Water Pump, Solar Water Heater and Biogas Plant under MANIREDA.

Such orientation cum awareness programme was also held yesterday at Uchiwa Makha Leikai organised by MANIREDA .
