AMSGO appeals for smooth conduct of Board examinations

Imphal, February 11 2026: The All Manipur Students Guardians' Organisation (AMSGO) has appealed to all local clubs, meira paibis, and student bodies across Manipur to ensure the peaceful and smooth conduct of the upcoming Class X and XII examinations.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) is set to begin the Class XII examinations on February 17, while the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) will commence the Class X examinations fam February 23.In the release, the AMSGO highlighted the importance of these exams for the future of the State's students and requested full cooperation from all sections of society to facilitate an environment conducive to learning and fair testing.

The organisation also noted its understanding with various student groups regarding the exam schedule.

The AMSGO also warned against any individuals or groups attempting to disrupt the exams for "vested interests" and specifically mentioned attempts to organise "housie" games during the examination period.

The organisation warned that individuals and organisations involved in disruptive activities will face consequences, urging an immediate halt to such actions.

The AMSGO further threatened to take action if its appeal is ignored and student interests are compromised.
