Arambai Tenggol holds free medical camp at Kakching Khunou

Kakching, January 11 2026:
Continuing its ongoing initiatives of blood donation and community healthcare, Arambai Tenggol (AT) organised a one-day free medical health camp at Kakching Khunou Kshetri Leikai Mandap, Kakching district.
The medical camp was jointly conducted by the Arambai Tenggol General Headquarter Medical Team and the Kakching Khunou Arambai Tenggol Unit, with support from the ShijaCity Dental Hospital, Kakching Chumnang.
A range of medical services, including general medicine, dental care, ENT, psychiatric and orthopaedic consultations, were provided to the public.
Ambulance services were also arranged, and free medicines were distributed to patients during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Arambai Tenggol General Headquarter Medical Team, Commander Boboi Yaithengbam said that the organisation has been regularly conducting blood donation drives and free medical camps across the State.
He noted that the health camp at Kakching Khunou was the first such programme organised by Arambai Tenggol this year.
Stating that the initiative aims to promote a disease-free body and a healthy society, he said that similar medical camps would continue to be organised across the State on a monthly basis.
He also appealed to the public to actively participate in the monthly blood donation camps organised by Arambai Tenggol to help address the shortage of blood in the State.
Around 400 individuals benefited from the medical camp.
Beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the initiative, lauding Arambai Tenggol for its efforts in extending essential healthcare services to the community.
