Imphal, May 10 2025: A memorial ceremony in honour of noted lyricist (L) Khuraijam Phulendra was held today at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), DM University Campus, Imphal.

The 10th birth anniversary observation of (L) Khuraijam Pulendra was organised by Khuraijam Phulendra Memorial Trust under the theme, "Ningshingli Khuraijam Phulendra" .

The event was graced by dignitaries, including ASEILUP president Dilip Mayengbam, AIR Imphal's senior broadcaster Chongtham Kamala, AMMA president Dr Yumnam Suren, Film Producers' Association president Thokchom Binapani Devi, renowned actors Yengkhom Roma, Kshetrimayum Rashi and Kangabam Tomba.

The event began with the offering of floral tributes to a photograph of (L) Khuraijam Phulendra, followed by the release of a souvenir.

The Khuraijam Phulendra Singh Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2025 was presented to eminent film-maker Shyam Sharma.
