Health camp organised

Imphal, May 09 2026:
The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, conducted a Swachhta Health Camp today at Ireng Naga village.
Organised in collaboration with the Ireng Naga (Puiluan) Village Authority, the initiative is a key component of the Swachhta Action Plan 2026-27 .
As per a release issued by RIMS, the camp brought essential healthcare directly to the community, featuring specialist doctors from the departments of Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgery and Orthopaedics.
About 107 patients from surrounding villages attended the camp, receiving free OPD consultations, medical checkups, and specialized medical advice.
In addition to consultations, patients were provided with necessary treatments and free medicines.
Residents expressed their gratitude for the medical team's efforts in making specialized healthcare accessible within their village.
Meanwhile, a social service drive was carried out around the old College of Nursing and UG Ladies' Hostels I, II, and HI at the RIMS campus.
