Don't yield to monetary demands: SP to cops

Imphal, October 04 2025: A bizarre and unusual order has surfaced in which the Superintendent of Police of Churachandpur district instructed the personnel to abstain from yielding to monetary demands, being made by illegal organisations.

The order, which has now gone viral on social media including Facebook and X, was issued by Prakhar Pandey, Superintendent of Police, Churachandpur district.

The unusual order noted that illegal organisations were demanding money from the police personnel of Churachandpur.

"It is hereby instructed to the rank and file of Churachandpur District Police to abstain from yielding to the demand.

Further the aggrieved personnel are instructed to contact office of the Superintendent of Police, Churachandpur District in case of any exigency," said the order.
