LSTB to observe "Khelchanglon Maru Hunkhiba Numit"

Imphal, August 31 2025: Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) has announced that it will be observing the "Khelchanglon Maru Hunkhiba Numit" at its complex in Haying Khongban Uphong Yumpham on September 5.On the occasion, the "Maichou Konok Thengra Khelchanglon Ningsing Mana" will be presented to eight outsanding individuals namely Oinam Shyamnanda of Taothong Ayungba Mamang Leikai, Wangkheimayum Homendro of Wangkhei Wangkheimayum Leirak, Elam Shyamkishwor of Takyel Kolom Leikai, Thongbam Premjit of Wahengkhuman Maning Leikai, Soubam Budha of Thoubal Achouba Keithel Makha, Naorem Rajen Mangangcha of Kakching Wairi Salam Leikai, Ahambijit Sairem of Uripok Yaambem Leikai and Konsam Jiten of Khurai Kongpal.

According to LSTB member secretary Maisnam Shivadutta Luwang, the event scheduled to be held on the 13th day of Manipur Lunar month Langban will be graced by prominent personalities, including Prof Paonam Gunindro, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University of Culture; Vidyapati Senjam, vice president, LSTB; LSTB board members Keisam Ibomcha Mangang and Namoijam Tomba Mangang.

The event will be marked by discussion on 'Khelchanglon' and offering of tributes to Maichou Konok Thengra.
