CCpur: Isolation ward shifted

CCpur, March 28 2020:
The district health authorities Churachandpur have today shifted the isolation ward for COVID-19 which was until today maintained on a different floor of the Circuit House which is designated as the district quarantine centre to the District Hospital campus.
With the shifting of the isolation ward, the number of people kept in isolation also rose to 3, according to an update posted by authorities on their WhatsApp bulletin.
It made be noted that the quarantine centre currently housed 22 people including the 11 Air Asia passengers whose co-passenger tested positive for nCoV-19 earlier this week.
Following the move to shift the isolation ward to DIC building located inside the hospital campus, a new team of COVID-19 front liners, comprising of 4 doctors, 4 nurses and 2 attendants have immediately segregated themselves within the hospital premises.
A team to streamline supplies, purchase and supplies, which was non-existent until today was started under the leadership of the DFWO.
A common kitchen for all the 15 staff stationed inside the hospital was also activated.
Despite pulling all effort to check the spread of COVID-19, the district incidentally was well in short of PPEs.
It also disclosed that doctors have started donating money for preparing PPEs and other provisions.
According to a photo of the PPE improvised by the doctors here have also made it to some of the social media groups.
It is worth mentioning that the local police too have improvised their PPEs while straying disinfectant at some public places yesterday.
