Chairman's Club induction ceremony held

Imphal, April 22 2024: The induction ceremony of the 2nd Chairman's Club for the year 2024-25 was held at the Multipurpose Hall of UNACCO School, Meitram on Sunday.

According to a release issued by UNACCO School, the ceremony was graced by UNACCO Group, chairman cum managing director, Ningombam Irabanta Singh and High Court of Manipur, Judge, A Guneshwor Shanna as presidium members.

The ceremony began with the singing of 'State Song' by students of UNACCO School followed by lighting of lamps by the dignitaries.

Delivering the keynote address, UNACCO School, Head of Admin (DGM), Nandeibam Shyamchand Singh said that the Chairman's Club consist of 146 students selected from UNACCO School Khongman, UNACCO School Meitram, UNACCO School Chanura and UNACCO Residential School Chanting as members.

He continued that the students were selected on the basis of their performance in the Half Yearly & Final examinations conducted by the four school and achievements in sports.

Sanaleibak Daily, Editor, Ningombam Hemantakumar stressed on the importance of time management and advised the parents/guardians to play an active role in guiding their children/ wards.

He also announced that UNACCO Group will be opening the UNACCO University next year to provide higher education to students.

A Guneshwor Sharma motivated the students and enlightened them about Legal Aid Service.

N Irabanta Singh expressed his gratitude to all the special invitees and A Guneshwor Sharma for sharing valuable insight and motivating the students.

He also presented a memento to A Guneshwor Sharma.

Students selected for the Chairman's Club were also felicitated with a badge, certificate and 'Lengyanphi'.

Later, a martial art show was performed by the World Funaba Federation.

Eminent personalities from different fields including Dr Dhanabir Laishram, Dr Chinglen Maisnam, Raj Nongthombam, RK Amarjit Singh, Victoria Yengkhom, Priyadarshini Laishram, S Ibomcha Singh, H Bobby Sharma, Bhogendro Singh, Laishram Rita Devi, Laishram Radhakanta Singh, Th Deshorjit Singh and Laishram Geetchandra Singh also attended the event as special invitees.

The event culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by P Surachandra Singh, Principal, UNACCO School Chanung.
