TSE staff expires; TSE, AMWJU condole

Imphal, July 13 2024:
The Sangai Express, the All Manipur Working Jour-nalists' Union (AMWJU) and the Editors' Guild Manipur (EGM) have condoled the demise of Lisham Dinakumar who was a Sub-Editor at The Sangai Express (Manipuri edition) and a member of AMWJU.
Dinakumar was 57 and he breathed his last at RIMS this morning after a prolonged illness.
A resident of Kwakeithel Makha Thokchom Leikai, Dinakumar left behind a wife and a son.
Before joining The Sangai Express, Dinakumar was a DTP operator at Hueiyen Lanpao.

To mourn the passing away of its member, AMWJU convened a condolence meeting at Manipur Press Club and the same was presided by its president Bijoy Kakchingtabam.
The gathering stood in silence for one minute during the meeting for the departed soul to rest in peace.
A resolution was also taken to provide all possible assistance to the family of Dinakumar during the meeting.
Bijoy, at the condolence meeting, said that Dina-kumar was a dedicated journalist.
Bijoy, while sharing the pain of the bereaved family, prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
