Candidate storms at medical directorate

Disappointed candidates who had applied for job recruitment at Medical Health Department (MHD), Lamphel today confronted with police personnel while trying to storm the department building for misconduct of the recruitment exams.
Disappointed candidates of more than 500 along with members of AMSU storm the MHD to inquire how the department has issued a notice without any information where only 700 candidates were selected to appear in the written exam which was conducted today.
On June 29, 2016, MHD released a job notice of 155 vacant posts for female health worker where more than 1600 applicants applied for the job.
After undergoing screening for the applicants on September 12 to 17 the department issued another notice where the applicants can collect their exam admit card on September 19.Unfortunately, when the applicants came to collect their admit card, the department had issue and order un-informed that only 1-500 applicants can collect the admit card on September 19 .
Other applicants came to collect their admit card on September 20 only to find a notice of 700 applicants who had been selected to appear the exam.
Most of the candidates who have already collected the admit cards their name were also not found among the selected 700 applicants.
On seeing this, the disappointed applicants sought for clarification on which ground the notice have been issued by the department.
