Interaction programme on climate change held

Imphal, October 27 2025: The 3rd interaction programme for the 6th Media Fellowship Programme (2025-26) on Climate Change Reporting was held today.

The programme held at the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change, Porompat, was attended by Director Dr T Brajakumar, The Sangai Express (Manipur edition) Editor Khogendra Khomdram, Imphal Review of Arts and Politics Editor Pradip Phanjoubam and environmentalist Salam Rajesh.

Professor T Shantibala (Entomologist), Deputy Director of Research CAU; Dr M Haripriya Devi, Assistant Professor (Botany), Manipur College; and Dr Arati Ningombam, Senior Scientist, ICAR-NEH, Manipur Centre gave presentations on alien species in Manipur linked to climate change.
