Thoubal, March 26 2020: A team of Thoubal commando arrested two drug peddlers from Lilong Khunou along with 51 numbers of cough syrup bottles Wednesday.

According to the reliable source, acting on a specific information about the movement of drug peddlers in an around the Lilong Khunou area, a team of Thoubal police rushed to the area and conducted frisking and checking.

On checking, two drug peddlers were arrested along with 51 numbers of cough syrup bottles from their possession.

The drug peddlers were identified as Makakmayum Rohid Khan (23), S/o Makakmayum Nasimuddin of Lilong Khunou and Jinmayum Fayas (20), S/o Jinmayum Sahidur of Lilong Heinou Makhong .

The seized items and arrested persons have been handed over to Lilong PS .
