Thoubal, October 25 2025: The United Makak Sagei Welfare Association (UMSWA) organised its 5th Meritorious Award Presentation Ceremony 2025 at the residence of Rajauddin Nahapik (AG), located at Lilong Turel Ahanbi Khongnang Makha.

The ceremony was graced by Assistant Controller Indian Defence Service Tengnoupal, Makakmayum Hosni Mubarak; SDO/BDO of Tengnoupal and Machi Block, Md Najmul Huda; Executive Engineer of RD & PR (RD Cell), Md Ziauddin; principal of Kasom Khullen Higher Secondary School, Md Ataullah; AE of MOBC Md Abdul Karim; Chief Advisor of UMSWA Janab Rousan Ali and UMSWA president Md Salatur Rahaman, among others as presidium members.

During the event, meritorious students who secured more than 80% marks in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the BOSEM and COHSEM for the year 2024-25 were felicitated with simple gifts in recognition of their achievements.

The programme also honoured students who have cleared FMGE/MCI/NEET/MBBS, along with National Awardees, sportspersons, and students who have topped in Islamic studies.

Widows who have attained the age of 70 years were also recognised and encouraged with small gifts as a token of appreciation.
