Kekru Mohammedan Union condoles demise of Md Jalaluddin

The Kekru Mohammedan Union Club, Yairipok, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Makakmayum Alhaj Janab Md Jalaluddin of Yaripok Kekru Bharot, who breathed his last at Hatta Golapati on October 23, 2025 .
In a condolence message, the Club recalled the invaluable contributions of the late Md Jalaluddin, who had served as an advisor of as well as first president of the club.
His vision and dedicated efforts were instrumental in the establishment, development, and growth of the institution, the message noted.
Born in 1950 at Yairipok Kekru, Md Jalaluddin was among the first from the Pangal community of Manipur to serve as a Government Advocate.
He devoted over three decades to the legal field, serving the High Court of Manipur with distinction before retiring as Additional Public Prosecutor in 2009 .
Apart from his legal career, the late Jalaluddin was also deeply involved in various social and community activities.
He worked actively with several CSOs, like the AMPWA, AMESCO, among others, contributing tirelessly to the protection of the territorial integrity of Manipur and the welfare of the Pangal community.
The Club, in its message, stated that his demise is not only a great loss to the Pangal community but also to the entire State of Manipur.
It conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
