Kakching, September 22 2024: A training programme on monitoring water quality was held at Angaan Ching Eco Park Kakching today.

Selected womenfolk of Keirak Gram Panchayat, Mayeng-Lamjao GP, Irengband, Sora and Bijoypur were given training on the use of field testing kits to monitor water quality.

Kh Dino Devi, Junior Chemist, Kakching PHED and Bonny Sapam, Lab Asst Kakching PHE Division attended the programme as resource persons and trainers.

The trainers also taught the women how they can upload the results of the tests on the Water Quality Management Information System.

ADAM, which is an Implementation Support Agency (ISA) of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Kakching and Kakching PHE Division organised the training programme.

ADAM secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum and Kakching PHE Division SO Salam Bikas attended the programme.

As part of the event and Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the participants planted trees at the Angaan Ching Eco Park.
