Imphal, August 22 2025: Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) organised an awareness campaign on the theme, "Eikhoigi Anouba Langon Gi Ehou" at Lilong Higher Secondary School today.

The event was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Sapam Dilipkumar, Assistant Professor, Law Department, Manipur University; Dr NC Shanta, Principal, Lilong Higher Secondary School; Ashem Prince, president, MAYOL; and social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Dilipkumar said that youth play a vital role in building a strong society by acting as future leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

"Empowering youth with the right resources, mentorship, and a supportive environment will allow them to maximize their potential and become strong leaders and change agents", he added.

He also emphasized the importance of providing proper guidance to the youth, who are future pillars of the society, to ensure they do not fall prey to drugs.

"We must develop a strong sense of collective responsibility to build a self-sufficient and prosperous future for Manipur, instead of relying on outsiders for solutions or support', said Dr Dilipkumar.

The campaign witnessed active participation of students and teachers of the school.
