Manaobi MM receives Khamba Thoibi Literary Award 2025

Bishnupur, December 20 2025: Quad Writers Moirang presented the 4th edition of Khamba Thoibi Literary Award 2025 to Manaobi MM for his book Thawai Manga today.

It is worth noting that Thawai Manga is an anthology of five stories (drama) .

The award comes with a cash prize, citation and shawl, which were handed over to Manaobi Meitei Moirangthem, who hails from Uripok Bachaspati Leikai.

The award distribution ceremony was held at Ibudhou Thangjing Laikol and witnessed the attendance of Th Shanti Singh, MLA Moirang AC as the chief guest; Ksh Subadani Devi, president Mahila Kavya Manch, Manipur and retd District Programme Officer, Imphal Social Welfare Department as the functional president and Dr.RK.

Nayansana Devi, former Chairperson, Manipur State Social Welfare Board and retd Director, Department of Agriculture; Aribam Sharatchandra Sharma, retd Principal, Moirang College; Nongmaithem Kirankumar Singh, former convenor, Manipur Language Advisory Board Sahitya Academy and Salam Ibochouba Singh, Ingu Khadrakpa, Ibudhou Thangjing Phamnaiba Cheirap Loishang as the guests of honour.
