District-level orientation on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan held in Churachandpur, Kangpokpi

A district-level orientation meeting on the rollout of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan was held today at the Conference Hall of the DC Office, Churachandpur.
The programme included preparatory exercises for the implementation of the Abhiya at the district-level.
Addressing the orientation programme, Additional Deputy Commissioner Thangboi Gangte emphasized that the session was intended to deepen departmental understanding of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
He encouraged the nominated District Master Trainers to take ownership of their roles, describing them as "the main keys to unlock many potentials" in ensuring the mission's success.
He also provided specific instructions to Block Development Officers on maintaining accurate and timely data entries in the Abhiyaan portal.
In Churachandpur, the programme will be piloted in one village each from Lamka South and Tuibong blocks, with targeted interventions and capacity-building measures.
Meanwhile in Kangpokpi.
Hemant Kumar, AC to DC, SDO T-Waichong, conducted a press briefing to apprise about the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, which is a movement for a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and spearheaded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
He stated that in Kangpokpi, 59 villages under DAJGUA will be covered under this abhiyan, with the aim to promote participation and empowerment of the villagers by establishing a 3-layer Government structure at the district, block, and village levels.
He said that each level will consist of officers who will act as master trainers, block master trainers, Adi Saathi, ax' Adi Sayogi.
The villages will also have social workers, Asha workers, and other social icons who will serve as Adi Sathi and Adi Sayogi.
A training program will be conducted at the district process lab from September 20 to September 27 to impart necessary knowledge and skills for participatory government, preparation of vigilant documents, and action plans for each village within the district.
The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, seeks to empower tribal communities through improved governance and responsive administration.
