District-Level DEA Fund awareness camps to be held in Bishnupur and Tengnoupal on Dec 19

Imphal, December 18 2025: District-Level awareness and assistance camps on the Depositor Education and Awareness (DEA) Fund will be organised in Bishnupur and Tengnoupal districts on December 19, 2025, as part of the Government of India's nationwide "Your Money, Your Rights" public awareness campaign.

The camps will be organised under the leadership of the respective District Collectors and the guidance of the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Manipur, with the Lead Bank of each district coordinating the events.

Representatives from banks, insurance companies, pension departments, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF), will participate in the camps.

According to SLBC, Manipur, a special camp will be held at Nambol Makha Leikai Community Hall, Nambol Bazar, while in Tengnoupal district the camp will be organised at Meipou Community Hall, Meipou Village, near SBI Kangsang, Tengnoupal.

Both camps will be conducted on December 19, 2025, from 10 am to 6 pm, under the supervision of the District Collectors and the Lead District Managers.

During the camps, assistance counters will be available to help citizens claim their unclaimed deposits, unclaimed insurance claims, unclaimed dividends, unclaimed shares, and mutual funds.

Beneficiaries will also receive support for KYC updates, filling out claim forms and document verification, as required.

Through this initiative, the State Level Bankers' Committee, Manipur has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing awareness and investment rights and ensuring that citizens can conveniently access their rightful financial benefits.
