Senapati issues travel advisory

Senapati, September 18 2025: After landslides hit several parts of Senapati, the district administration has issued a travel advisory.

The National Highway-102A (Ukhrul-Tolloi-Tadubi) Road will remain closed to all types of vehicles (light and heavy) until further notice, said the advisory.

Movement of heavy trucks on NH-129A shall remain suspended until further notice.

The Old PWD road along the stretch near Tamphung (Peren Bridge) will be opened as an alternate route for one-way traffic of LMVs, it said.

The Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) and local Traffic Police authorities will coordinate with the NHIDCL and relevant authorities to ensure effective execution of the directives, it added.
