Imphal, March 18 2026: A three-day Hands-on Training Programme focused on "Food Processing of Fruits, Vegetables, and Spices for Promotion of Youth Agripreneurs" concluded today at the Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal.

The initiative aimed at strengthening rural livelihoods and promote self-reliance among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Wathalambi and Laishoi villages in the Bishnupur district.

The programme was organised by the Directorate of Research.

CAU, Imphal, in collaboration with the College of Food Technology, Lamphelpat, with financial support from ICAR-VPKAS, Almora.

Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, CAU, Imphal and Dr Ng Iboyaima Singh attended the closing function.
