Imphal, July 17 2025: The annual report of History Club, DM College of Arts, DM University for the year 2024-25 was released today in a function held at the college premises.

The function was graced by dignitaries, including Prof S Lanchenba Meetei, Principal, DM College of Arts; Prof Naorem Joykumar, president, Manipur Historical Society; A Subhas Singh, Additional Secretary DO/Home & Director, Institutional Finance; Samuel Duidang, Head, Department of History, DM College of Arts; Dr Ch Sheelaramani, retired Principal, DM College of Arts; and retired IAS officer Dr RK Nimai.

As part of the event, a lecture programme was also conducted wherein Dr RK Nimai delivered a lecture on the topic, "The Idea of Manipur" and Prof Naorem Joykumar elaborated on "Recent Trends in History Writing in Manipur".

Wangam Somorjit, Director, ARCL & A, spoke on "Histrical Records of Advanced Research Consortium Library and Archives" .
