Kakching, July 13 2024: A 'District Level Prerana Utsav' was held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Umathel Kakching today jointly organised by the Vidyalaya and Zonal Education Office (ZEO) Kakching under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The district level event was marked by competitions conducted on painting, essay writing, visual arts, creative arts and performing arts such as Thang-Ta, dance and music.

49 students of 25 different schools under Kakching district participated in today's events.

It may be noted that out of the 49 students, 30 students will be selected for the final round after the preliminary round.

In the final round, only two students (a boy and a girl) will be selected to undergo special training and expressional learning at Gujarat.
