Imphal, May 12 2025: The faculty members and students of DM College of Arts, Imphal have expressed profound sorrow and deep condolence over the untimely demise of S Damenti Devi, Grade-IV, DM College of Arts.

"Her unwavering dedication and service to the institution will always be remembered with respect and gratitude", said a release issued by Prof S Lanchenba Meetei, Principal, DM College of Arts.

In her memory, a condolence meeting was held at DM College of Arts Auditorium, where colleagues, faculty members and students gathered to pay their respects.

A solemn two-minute silence was observed, reflecting on her invaluable contributions and the impact she had on those around her.

The gathering also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
