Chandel, May 10 2025: Under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority, Chandel held the 2nd National Lok Adalat 2025 at Chandel and Tengnoupal districts.

A total of 12 cases with a settled amount of Rs 6,93,500 were settled in the National Lok Adalat, said a press release issued by Masana E Panmei, secretary, DLSA, Chandel.

Notably, two benches were constituted in the said National Lok Adalat, Bench No 1 was presided by Masana E Panmei, Civil Judge Senior Division cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandel accompanied by Kh Jacky Lucy, Retainer Lawyer and JS Chamdil Anal, Advocate as members of the bench.

Whereas, Bench No 2 was presided by Fakhrul Islam Choudhury, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Moreh accompanied by Keishang Kopham, Remand Advocate, DLSA, Chandel and Jilkhochon Lhungdim, Advocate as members.
