State official joins National Public Relations Summit 2026 in Delhi

Imphal, April 10 2026:
A two-day National Public Relations Summit 2026, hosted by the Maharashtra Information Centre under Maharashtra's Directorate General of Information & Public Relations (DGIPR), concluded today at New Delhi.
Ningthoujam Roshan Singh, Assistant Publicity Officer (Press) from Manipur's Directorate of Information & Public Relations, represented the State alongside senior officials and communication experts from across India.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by R Vimala, Secretary & Resident Commissioner, Maharashtra Sadan; Shweta Singhal, Special Commissioner, Maharashtra Sadan; and Hemanth Nimbalkar, Commissioner, DIPR, Karnataka.
The summit explored AI's role in governance communication, digital strategies, and innovative PR practices.
Day 1 featured key sessions on "AI in Newsroom", delivered by Shashank Chouhan, BBC Output Editor (Indian Languages); "Digital Transformation of Governance Communication" with presentations by Google India's Karanpal Singh Julka, Dharmesh Mahamwal, and Vikas Yadav; "Digital Transformation with Meta" by Asheesh Pandey; and "Best PR Practices in India", where State representatives shared experiences moderated by Nimbalkar.
Day 2 included "Paid Publicity New Horizons" with inputs from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Haryana; "AI for PR and Media" by Brijesh Singh (Principal Secretary, DGIPR); and "Changing Contours of Language in Public Relations" by Prof Shuchi Yadav, JNU, New Delhi.
The summit concluded with a valedictory session graced by Rajesh Aggarwal, Chief Secretary, Maharashtra.
