Lions Club extends humanitarian aid to over 1010 flood victims

Imphal, July 08 2025:
In the wake of the devastating floods affecting large parts of Manipur, Lions Club of Manipur region, under Lions Clubs International District 322D, has launched a large-scale humanitarian relief operation, reaffirming its enduring commitment to the motto "We Serve" .
As per a release issued by the International Association of Lions Clubs District 322D, building upon earlier relief drives held on July 3, 4 & 7, the Lions Club have reached out once again, this time supporting 202 families comprising 1010 internally displaced persons, residing in Thoubal and Kakching district.
The distribution included essential relief materials, made possible through an emergency grant from the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) .
Relief items including rice, cooking oil, salt, potatoes, pulses, soya chunks and packaged drinking water were distributed at Lamding Hr Sec School, Rice Research Station Wangbal, Kodompokp Stadium Wanjing, Indoor Stadium Kakching, Langmeidong Girls Aided School, Khomdonbi English School Kakching Khunou.
Through collective action and compassion, Lions Clubs continue to inspire hope and reaffirm the power of community in times of hardship.
