Financial literacy campaign held in Jiribam

Jiribam, July 05 2025: Under the initiative of Jiribam Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar (IAS) and under the supervision of Lead District Manager, Jiribam Waikhom Birendra, a Financial Literacy Campaign (FLC) was held today at Borobekra CSP PNB, Borobekra Gram Panchayat.

The campaign, part of the Financial Literacy Campaign (FLC), aims to promote financial awareness and access to key Government schemes for people across Jiribam district.

During the campaign, awareness was spread about several important financial and social security schemes, including i) Atal Pension Yojana (APY) ii) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) iii Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) iv) Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and v) Digital Financial Literacy to prevent from scammers and fraudulent.

The Financial Literacy Campaign was conducted by Resource Person Sandip Dhar of CSP PNB Jiribam; and Community Facilitators (CF) of MSRLM, Rajiv Chanda, M Brajarani, A Momo Singha, Sadananda Das and Th Omy Devi, Field Coordinator, CRISIL Foundation CFL Jiribam.
