Imphal, December 02 2025: A one-day State level training programme on "Tobacco Control Laws" for law enforcers from sixteen districts was held today at the conference hall of Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Manipur.

The training programme was organised by State Tobacco Control Cell, State Health Society, NHM Manipur and the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur.

Conducted under the aegis of the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), the event witnessed Dr N Bino , Director, Family Welfare led the gathering in an oath-taking ceremony, pledging to give up consumption of tobacco in all its forms.

NTCP State Nodal Officer (SNO) Dr Huidrom Sujata imparted valuable information about tobacco laws during the programme.
