Imphal, July 30 2026: As part of the 61st Chaklam Khongchat Ningshing Thouram, the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) organised an Academic Campaign at Wangkhei High School on Thursday.

AMSU vice-president Naorem Wangamba, general secretary Salam Changkhonba, library and documentation secretary Nongthongbam Abinash, Imphal East District Committee members, Wangkhei High School teachers and students attended.

Addressing the gathering, Wangamba said Manipur faces many issues and the State's progress depends on youth with knowledge and patriotism contributing in different fields.

He stressed that students must study beyond the syllabus and understand the State's history and social values to build the future.

AMSU said such campaigns aim to prepare students to shoulder responsibilities for society and the State.
