Imphal, August 28 2025: Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol District 322D in collaboration with Shija Eye Care Foundation, Health Village Langol, Imphal West organized a Free Check up cum Awareness on Eye Donation Pledge With the Members of Langol Old Age Home at Langol Ningthou Imphal on 16th August 25.Dr Noornika Khuraijam explained in detail about donating eyes.

After that they were taken to Shija Eye Care Foundation to check their eyes.

Now 12 members of Langol Old Age Home have consented for Eye Donation and took the Pledge declaration.

It may be mentioned here that in observance of hundred years Journey of Helen Keller (1925-2025) "Knight of Blind" Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol District 322D in collaboration with Ushingsa Kitchen also distributed packaged food items to the Students of Govt Ideal Blind School, Imphal on 20th August 2025 .
