20-day workshop / production on Bangadesh (Ariba Pala) concludes in Kakching

The 20-day workshop-cum-production on Bangadesh (Ariba Pala) concluded today with a simple yet significant event held at the Sangeet Academy Auditorium Hall in Kakching.
The closing ceremony of the workshop programme was graced by former Minister and president of Senior Citizens' Forum Kakching.
Nongmaithem Nimai as chief guest; president of Sangeet Academy Kakching and Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Kshetrimayum Bira as functional president; and Visiting Guru of JNMDA Imphal, Ksh Godadhar Singh as guest of honour.
Speaking at the occasion, Nongmaithem Nimai said that Bangadesh Pala not only imparts the traditional oral heritage of Manipuri culture but also conveys deep spiritual and moral values through its music and storytelling.
He added that the Pala serves as a vital form of oral literature that reflects both the richness of Manipuri traditions and the social impact of moral decline in contemporary society.
During the programme, artists of the academy showcased a captivating performance of the production of Bangadesh (Ariba Pala), leaving the audience deeply enthralled.
