Traffic advisory issued for Durand Cup matches at Khuman Lampak

Imphal, July 26 2026: The Office of the Superintendent of Police, Traffic Control Police Wing, Manipur has issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming 135th Durand Cup matches to be held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Matches are scheduled for July 28, July 30, August 3, August 5, August 9 and August 12, with a large turnout of VIPs, Government dignitaries and the public expected.

For smooth movement, the public has been asked to use Gate No 2 (Indoor Stadium) and Gate No 5 (9-IRB Gate) for vehicles until parking space is available.

Gate No 3 (Hockey Stadium) will be for pedestrians only, and Gate No 4 (Rugby Ground) will also be open.

HUDCO Gate and Gate 1 (Western Gate), are restricted and not for general use.

Parking on a first-come, first-served basis will be available near Indoor Stadium, Swimming Pool Junction, Kang Sang Point, inside Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, RAU Ground and ISBT Campus.

Once inside parking is full, vehicle entry will be restricted.

The road from Pandon Crossing to MMTA Banyan Tree Crossing will be closed during match hours.

Diversions may be enforced from Minuthong Junction to Lamlong Thong and Sanjenthong.

Heavy vehicles will be restricted at Sangakpam Crossing, Lamlong Thong, Singjamei, Kwakeithel, Keishampat Junction, Uripok Canteen Crossing, and Khongnang Ani Karak.

Gates will open at 1 PM on July 28.The public is advised to arrive early, prefer two-wheelers or walk, avoid roadside parking, and follow police instructions.
