Learners Club marks 5th foundation day with felicitation ceremony

Thoubal, October 24 2025: Learners Club, Ngangou Haoreibi Makha Leikai, celebrated its 5th foundation day today with a grand felicitation ceremony to honour meritorious students of the locality.

The event held at Lilong Konjil Leikai Lampak, was graced by several dignitaries, including Senior Resident of the Department of General Surgery (JNIMS), Dr Yumkhaibam Sabir Ahmad; Learners Club president Zuma Yumkhaibam; Executive Engineer of MOBEDS Md Yunus Ali; SIT Manipur, DSP Md Tajuddin; Samurou Municipal Council Ward no 11, Councillor Anwar; Ward no 10 Councillor Md Basir Ahmed; Advisor of Learners Club, Nasir Khan; Asst Professor of Lilong Haoreibi College (History Dept), Fm Mustafiz Khan, among others as presidium members.

As part of the event students who achieved outstanding results in the recently declared Class X and XII examinations, as well as achievers in various fields, and renowned Eshing Maiba Asadullah also received special recognition for his contributions.

They were presented with cash awards, citations, and gifts, in appreciation of their achievements.

Speaking on the occasion, Yumkhaibam Zuma, president of Learners Club said that the club would continue to encourage academic excellence in the upcoming 6th foundation day of the Club.

He announced that students from the jurisdiction of the club who secured the top three positions in the Class X and XII examinations would receive cash rewards of Rs 3 lakh.

Those securing ranks from 4th to 25 th would receive a sum of Rs 50,000, while students scoring above 80% would be rewarded Rs 5,000 .

He further assured that students who successfully cleared the NEET examination would receive a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh as part of the club's effort to promote academic excellence and dedication among local youth.
